Sorry about your car. That stinks. But on a lighter note...if your models ever want to pose by another black convertible let me know

It's always a sad to see your pride and joy with her panties around her ankles like that. I lost a nice car once as well, but it was due to my own careless driving. I kinda know how you feel. Take comfort in knowing you will have another one, and it will be even better than before in the end.

Its A Great Parts Car Now....

On a related concept....

I restore classic arcade machines as a hobby. Often there is a rare part/piece/chip that is known to go bad and the only way to (affordably) repair the machine is to scavenge. I hate to do it, but it is the only way to make 2 non-working pieces become one whole working machine.

Consider your car as a car-life-giver to others. That motor probably is destined for great (FI or stroker) things. The A4 and rear were certainly not hurt and I can imagine many other parts off that beauty can still be of great use.

Best to you. Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope the next one brings joy like this one did.

I remember your original thread, dam that was sad to see.

Good to see you are getting some of the mods off the car, and will have another vette in the spring.

Good luck with the search

I can't believe you are going to let the C5R lights go to the salvage yard. You should be able to find someone who would be willing to come out and trade you headlights for the stockers. did you leave the HID kit in there too? I'd jump on it but the C5R lights aren't my favorites.

I remember your first thread about the fire and your tribute video. I'm so sorry to see this happen to anyone. I hope that you get back into a new Vette soon!
