Default x-pipes?

Well that exhaust jingle is annoying me so im planning to change the stock H pipe and keep the rest of the stock exhaust for now. Now the question is are there any aftermarket x-pipes that will bolt right up or is there cutting and welding involved if i go with high flow cats or keep stock? if anyone has a sound clip of a x pipe only car that would be good too.

Yes and no- I am having an X-Pipe installed for my lovely jingle next week.

You do have to cut the stock exhaust rear of the cats and clamp the X-Pipe section on.

The rear of the X-Pipe is flanged like the stock exhaust - so it bolts right up to out stock TI cat back.

I am going with the Magnaflow X-Pipe as it appears to be more of a tru x-Pipe versus two pipes siamesed together like the Corsa X-Pipe.

I went with a Bassani X-pipe off of the auction site. Stock pipe had to be cut off and then I think I welded the new one in.

I don't THINK so, but you'll have to look. I think it's all 1 piece from the exhaust manifold to catback system.

OK- today I had the Magnaflow X-pipes installed. These are high quality "true" full diameter X pipes. The exhaust jingle is now history.

LOve em.
