GORILLA locks/lug nuts were one of the first things I installed on my car. They're all steel with a show chrome (or black) finish. The locking part is a random pattern of raised lands around the perimeter instead of a puzzle pattern on top
I never had the oem locks, but the oem lug nuts had plenty of corrosion at the base.

I replaced the OEM's shortly after getting the car. One of the crappy plastic covers fell off and the dealer wanted $10 to replace it. Bye Bye OEM.

I have a 2000 coupe with polished Rims. It came with anodized lug nuts and the aformentioned crappy plastic covers (not even chrome). When I went to the dealer for a replacement cover, I was shocked by the price. I asked if there were chrome covers available and he said there was. The price was $15 ea. I did the quick math and laughed in his face. I then went to the closest tire store and bought a full set with locks for the price of the chrome covers for one wheel.

No problem with my OEM locks either. However, get some Mcgard or Gorilla locks and you should be good to go.
