Default How to remove front emblem

My service manuals are on their way from Gene, but I'd like the basic steps to get to and remove the front emblem so I can get busy with my new porter cable on the front end.

Don't tell me I need to lift front... I also have an Omega 29023 low profile service jack on it's way and still need to orfer the norterntools.com jack adapters...

Gently heat
Use fishing line and work it under the tape adhesive, really sticky
There are two locating pins and as a result two holes in the cover.

take your time and go slow

Why do you want to throw away $50 ?????
A new emblem will be a must if you take it off.
