Default cleaned my grounds today

i cleaned the 2 engine ground connectors today in hopes of having the service traction control/abs come off as suggested in other posts. i managed to rip the screw of one gorund off and now forced to drill a new hole for new grounding. ahhhhhh i had to buy a drill and luckily it wasnt too far away but now i have to charge the battery for the drill, and do it in a very tight space. i also dropped my 8mm wrench inside the wheelwell when i was taking off the battery and had to get one of those magnet things but they come in very hands i was supposed to go home for thanksgiving today, now its going to be hell in traffic tomorrow. im gonna try to at least get the hole started tonight the 14v drill is not too powerful and its cold and dark outside. to thinkg that i just got it back yesterday from rebuilding the tranny, hopefully my car will be running tomorrow and i can go home!

Just use an automotive self taping screw . No need to pre-drill a hole....
unless you are trying to drill out the sahft of the broken screw and re use the hole that it occupies.

Sounds like you have the same luck I have when tackling repairs. Best of luck getting thing back in order.

what exactly is your car doing?

I had my clutch replaced = driveline removed, and now my active handeling keeps comming on for no reason.

I need to clean the grounds as well. found this post looking for the ground cleaning thread.
