Default Does wheel size matter?

I currently have a stock 2002 coupe with 17s & 18s. Would it be a problem to go with either all 4 17s or 18s? I have a chance to purchase a new setup at a great price but all four wheels are the same size. Could use some advice.

Size does matter. Your rear wheels/tires are 1" taller than the front. It could cause problems with the traction control if you go under that 1" mark. If you change wheel size I would go with 18's, but you will have to be careful with the tire fitment. Good luck.

Well I was wondering the same thing, if you put 18's all around you could then carry a donut spare too...right? Then the on going debate of run flats vs non run flats can forever sleep! And you can feel more secure with a spare...my opinion. So...can you put 18's all around and I wonder why they didn't?

Whatever you do you have to stay close to the 1" rule from rear to front. Rear being the larger size. As we have found over the years some cars are more sensitive to this than others. SO be sure whatever you do... just get it right the first time so you dont waste money buying another new setup.

Some owners have gone with all 18s and to keep the stagger they adjust the tires size.
