good choice, I have the DDX 6019
you will love the NAV since its GArmin based. use the directions in the audio section and you will have no problmes with the bezel. Its just a lot of filling and sanding to make it look good

I sanded one with 1500 grit a while back , just enough to clean up the flakes and not sand down the texture, then lightly spray it with 2 coats of 3M interior trim semi gloss black paint you can find in any automotive paint store , turned out like new and still looking good a year later .
A flat vinyl paint works fine too .
