Default OEM LED Taillights?

Anyone know where I could get them? The aftermarket LED's look fine, but I want to see if there are OEM LED's for purchase.

Not sure what your asking? OEM Led's? Are you wanting a specific pattern with the led's? I've only see two types, Halo's and Cat's eyes. I just bought a set and some members said that those two are the only ones out there. Not sure if this helps or not.

I like the Halo's, but I got a set of the cat's eye's. Seems to be a little less desired, so a little different but I also didn't have a hyper flash problem and/or need to by any relays. I will agree that led's are the only way to go. Much brighter.

Hey guys,
What I mean by OEM LED's I mean like an OEM tailight, except that the light is not stock, but LED. Like, OEM style+LED lights and efficency.

My bro (who honestly, hates ricers) said that LED aftermarket tail lights are rice and he said OEM LED would be acceptable :P

I know they make some light bulbs that are led and plug into the socket as normal. That may be more of what your looking for. I've even seen some that spread out once you put them into the stock housing which gives them a different light design. Do some searches for replace bulbs instead of LED taillights. Hope that helps. If I find some, I'll post.

the LED bulbs in the stock housings are very dim and not worth a damn. your bro is if he thinks the aftermarket LED tails are rice.

The Halo's are as close to OEM as you can get (actually, I think they look better than OEM) and they are MUCH brighter and light up quicker. Go with the Halo's. You won't be sorry.

You can purchase them from many of the Forum vendors or a popular auction site.

I'm glad you did see a picture of the cat's eyes. I tried to take some of mine, but my wife's dang camera. Let's just say, I don't like it.
Anyway....did you like them? Alot of people don't. Halo's are pretty popular, but I like being alittle different.

this are about the only pic i've seen of the "eyeball" LED tails.

i'd like to see more shots because they're an alternative to the halos.

Hey guys.....nice lights jdmvette (doesnt that stand for japanese domestic market?!)

So, talked to ym bro and he surprised me. He said he wasn't talking about OEM LED's, but retrofitting them. Gave me a site.

http://www.retro-solutions.com/led.html

Supposedly, they can retrofit LED's into stock housing or whatever (not very good with the terminology). Anyone think that this is a good alternative?

i checked it out.

the only issues i'd see is that the OEM housings are not clear, so the LED bulbs would be dim.

plus i can imagine that this service is $$$$.
