competition mode 99frc

hey guys i reada bout competition mode, does my car have it. i tried to enable it and no work. Maybe i am doing something rong. With car stopped i press the traction control for 10 seconds ???/

You should have it. My '99 FRC has it. I usually hold the T/C down an count to 8-1000 and it pops up. You cant release the button once you pressed it or it wont come on and you cant be rolling.

Some have it and some don't.
Does it have AH or TC by the button?

no i tjust has the car with the squiguly lines on top of button

One way to know for sure is to check the options sticker in the glove compartment. If you have AH the option code is JL4.

That's for Traction Control (on/off). You don't have AH.

I have the same button on my 99' FRC and I have competion mode on mine. Drive in that mode most of the time.

For about the umteenth million time, if you don't have Active Handling (Option JL4) - you do not have Competition Mode. The button looks like this......
