Default My Dirty Z

For all of you who keep your cars in your garage all the time... don't look!!!!

I just drove my 02Z from Cincinnati, to Virginia Beach coming back from some leave after a deployment. I've said it before... I love this thing! I got hella good gas mileage and not even a hint of a problem through sun, rain, and even some snow! Check out those shiny wheels!!!

56.7 mph with a few stops thrown in there... no comment on the breaking laws.

Hi Guys -

You should see the rubber all over the mufflers and rear fenders on my Z after a trip to the drag strip lol ...

BTW - the above is a great shot of the forged alcoa Z06 wheels that were stock on 01's and some early 02's.

You can see from this picture the sharper edges to the spokes.

best regards-

mqqn

Here's a few pics of my car this past summer on my cross country road trip (6,363 miles) coast to coast.

This was in the parking garage at Mount Rushmore. The small tumbleweed in the pic was caught under my car when I parked and I think I'd dragged it over 100 miles!

This one was at Devil's Tower in Wyoming.

Here's the front wheel from the above pic. Hint: They're chrome...

Here's just a fun pic in the parking lot of the National Corvette Museum.

Here in the ATL area we have been told to be proud of our dirty cars. I just don't think i can do that to the Z thou. I don't wash it every day, but i do run it throu a touchless carwash at least every other week.
