Default Need your advice

I am new to corvettes, I am looking to buy a 02-03 z06 and wanted to put a procharger on it. What other power upgrades should I do or will have to do if I add the procharger. Thanks

Head over to the forced induction forum to get the best answer to your question. Also, ask yourself why you're wanting to do this. If you're just running the 1/4, I'd recommend an LS-1 F-body for your basis.

If you're wanting to autocross or track the car, then head over to the autox/road race forum and do a search on super/turbo charging your engine. You'll find heat is your number one enemy, followed by heat, then heat, ...

HTH, and have a good one,
Mike

Depends on what your ultimate goal is.
A procharger right out of the box on a stock Z will safely run at 5-6psi and give very reliable daily driver HP somewhere in the range of 490-530rwhp.
Adding good headers for breathing out the back end and you'll be closer to the 530#

althought iam still on my stock clutch, you will most likely need to upgrade that fairly soon. I would also add a meth kit for insurance and maybe an aftermarket exhaust for better breathing.

If you are new to Vettes ( as in never had one!),get a good Z and drive it a while before you mod it.You just might like it as is!
