Well, they weigh 40 lbs each, have almost no lateral support, and they cost $500. They're sure not racing seats and they look like less seat than the stock seats.
I know a guy who is working on adapting Sparco Roadster seats to corvettes. Hes in prototype phase right now and should have a working model soon (Feb or so)

People have been putting those seats in C5's for years, What sort of adapting is necessary that isn't already available?
In fact, the Caravaggio race seats are basically just re-skinned Roadsters.
Im not sure his regular seats will fit in a vette on the stock rails or even otherwise but hes working on something special..like I said give him a shout and tell hi I sent ya..
Besides these only support 4 point harnesses as there isn't any way to mount a sub strap. The ones on E Bay also look like they are only good for 4 point harnesses.
The other thing you need to be concerned about is width of the seat and the E Bay ones look like they may be too wide.
For $1K you can find some very nice seats that fit, are real racing seats and not pretenders.

Thanks for the input, guess I'll just hold off & go w/ a trusted name like sparco or corbeau, just so damn expensive & Id like to go w/ real leather too. Also like the dual slots in headrest & not single, If anyone wants to post some pics of their set ups it would be much appreciated, Thanks

OK, Corbeau FX1 Pro on the driver's side and FX1 on the passenger side. These would NOT make good DD seats, but on the track they're great.

Corbeau has their own rails/brackets and they have specific versions for Corvettes that will bolt in. Check here
