New 08 split spoke style on c5?
Does anyone have the new 08 split spoke style rim on their c5 yet? I kinda like them - different. I see way too many c5 and c6 z06 style rims on c5 so Im kinda burnt on them. Plus the angles of the split spoke (little rounder) IMO goes with the rounded shapes of the c5 (c6 is very angular so the c6 rims look fine on a c6 IMO).
Here is a picture of one.

I haven't seen it done yet, but they will look good on a C5.

I tend to agree. I am in the process of picking out some new shoes for the C5 and these have been a hot prospect. I am up in the air...

I think that rim is pretty damn ugly.....
It has no lip.. it would look like the mustang rim if it didnt have the split
Why cant these manufactures take a hint from companies like HRE, CCW, or I-forged

I don't like the central hub part (kinda thin and pancake like in the middle), but the new camaro's wheels are really hot, and they would look better IMO bc the hub is sunken inward. JMO though.

It has no lip.
You mean as opposed to the massive lip seen on wagon wheels, thinspokes, C5 Z06 wheels. 05-07 C6 and Z06 wheels?
No, It'll never compare to aftermarket wheels...but for an OE wheel, the spoke style will work well on a C5.

I was also wondering why my C6 wheels dont have a massive lip

I read "pancake" on this forum and I think...
They will definately take some time getting used to, but just like every other C6 wheel, it'll end up looking better on a C5

Haven't seen any on a C5 yet, but I do think they would look pretty good.

WOW. Those actually look pretty damn good. I was skeptical at first because I don't like how the stock C6 wheels look on C5's. Everyone might think I'm crazy, but I like my wagon wheels just fine.
Oh and by the way... VERY nice photoshop job. I thought it was an actual photograph!

I saw the non-chrome version of the 08 wheels on a C5 at the Dimmitt
car show a few months back, BUT did not take pics.
I liked them alot.
