Towing points?
We read lots of posts about lifting pucks, the making (or buying) of and their installation and use but what about this -
If the Vette needs winching up on a flatbed, or anywhere else, where do the tow hooks go? Does a U-cable with a hook at each end hook into the puck lifting slots? If so, won't the cable do any damage as it passes under the subframes and front air dam? I really can't see any other reasonable hook points.
We need to know this as it seem that NO mechanic, service person, tire person or tow truck operator has a clue how to lift or winch a Vette without causing damage. We need to be standing right there to teach them their job.
