Default HUD adjustment

My baby has the HUD but it is very low when I sit back in the seat it is barely visible. Is there a way to adjust the unit to project it higher on the glass?

yes, just use the up and down button on the side and it will move it up and down on the glass.

I have tried that, but still adjusted all the way up, its still sits low. I mean like a manual adjustment to use.

You can raise the seat, tilt the back forward or sit on a cushion. Unless the unit is loose internally, you don't have a manual adjustment. Just for reference, how tall are you? It's possible something has slipped inside. Do you have any contacts with a Vette with HUD that you can sit in to compare?

6'-1" here. No problem. I've got ample adjustment on either side of my "normal" position.

This happened to mine also. You have to remove the dash and then remove the HUD unit. After I disassembled the HUD I found that one of the plastic hinge pins had wore off. I drilled it out and put in a #2 wood screw. All is good now. It will take just about all day.
