I am about ready to spring for some new CCW SP500 18 X 10" fronts, with Michelin PS2 275/35 18 and 19 X 11" rears, with PS2 305/30/19.
Question/concerns are: Will the fronts rub anywhere with full turn in or turn out? Will the rears stick out very much past the fenders? Any other advice and or pics would be helpful. Thanks, Mark
I have the exact same setup as you're getting except I have the 505a's. My tires are Michilens and the rears do stick out further than I would like. Part of it is the shape of the non-runflat large rib the rear tires have on them. Perhaps "other" tires would not stick out quite as much ( I'm guessing 1/2 to 3/4" minimum). Next tires I buy will probably be 295's w/o a rib assuming they'll fit my 11" wheel. The fronts are just fine! Hope this helps, Ron
Awesome choice, cause I'm thinking of the exact combo. My hold up is I want chrome which adds mega bucks. My research indicates that sizing would be perfect, currently I'm KDW II's 18/19,very close to that sizing, the rears are 295/35 being taller than the PS2, very close in the other dimensions, no rub. That's on 9.5 front & 10.5 rear. Guess I am not really much help here, sorry.

Ron, Mine is a 2000 Vert as well. Can you show me any pics? Thanks, Mark

The 305 MPS2's are a bigger tire than say the 305 Bridgestone. We mount that tire on a 19x11.5 wheel so it fits better. The extra 1/2" is on the inside so it doesn't stick out any extra, but with that tire the rim guard will still be outside the fenders on some. The other issue at the moment is the 305 MPS2 is on backorder till at least the end of December. Hope this helps.
You might want to look at the Nitto Invo 285 in the front and 305 in the rear. They fit nice and are a good looking tire.

That sounds great Melissa. I am still in Iraq and I'm looking forward to doing business with you guys. I'm thinking of going with the 18x10 and 19x11 combination myself, however I haven't decided on the style yet. I've been checking out the Nittos and they look pretty good. Take care.

Melissa, John, and Chip know there stuff. I on my 3rd set of CCW's. I have the same setup you are looking at now. I will try to take and post some pics tomorrow. No one knows wheels and tires like CCW.

Thanks everyone. I will be looking foreward to the pics. I will also check out the Nitto's. Thanks, Mark
Very true about the nitto envo being a great tire. They are great for traction and they have a rolled edge for fender clearance. We took the run-craps off our viper and mounted these tires and the difference is amazing, so much more traction.
Here are a couple of pics you can see the tires mounted on a car:
I've got 19x10's on the front w/ 285/30 and 19x11 rear w/ 305/30Bridgestones with no rubbing and I am slammed. So for the Bridgestone's have been a great tire! ... Here is a pic of my T10's ...
The offset of the 19x11" CCW with a 3" lip will put the wheel right at the edge of the fender lip. I have a very conservative setup,m and if I drop a plum bob from the wheel well outer lip, it will land just outside my tread blocks. The physical sidewall is outboard 7/16". The contact patch is in the fender, so slinging stuff has not been a problem.
This is the nature of the beast with deep dish wheels. To keep the wheel placed identical to a Z06's 18x10.5", you would need to select the 19x11" with the 2" lip and have CCW use around a 64mm offset.
Call Chip and John at CCW. They will definitely help you decide - they know their stuff!

Chuck, Those have the look Are the rears ps2 305? The 3" lips are great and from that angle they look all tucked in. Mark
Mark, I'd be happy to show pictures of my wheels/tires, however, I've yet to figure out how to post or send pic's here ( shame on me). If you wish, send me your e-mail (I'm RSchleder@aol.com) and I'll send you a e-mail with the pic as an attachment. Ron
19x10f and 19x11.5 rear with PS2's. The rear doesn't protrude enough to be an issue. The "rib" comes out just a little, but as mentioned the contact patch is completely under the car. I had the same concerns when trying to decide which combo. Hope these photos help.
Check out the profile pics, SP500 18 front 19 rears GY Runflats, Just make sure they send you the right tire sensors if you are going to run them. It is lowered on bolts, no scraping what so ever.
