 You want to talk performance? Many can build a motor that turns out 400HP, some can build a chassis that will pull a g-force in a corner  Most can build a car that is reliable :flag But, no one except Chevy, can build one that will do it all and get 30MPG on the highway!
Here is a challenge to all other HI PO cars. Get on a normal highway (for me it's I 66 and I 495 in Northern, VA) Set (clear) your average MPG and your average speed read outs. Drive 50 miles, then turn around, drive the same 50 miles back, all the while triyng to average 55 mph. (50-50-55) I did this today, not by initial plan, but it seemed to materialize. My average speed ended up at 57 mph due to some traffic variations I had no control over, and my mileage was 31.5mpg one way and 30.6mpg the other. Mileage was within 2/10 of the 50 miles each way. That is 31+mpg for 100miles in a car that has over 400HP and will out accelerate just about anything on the road and top end all but a very few. Did I mention it will corner too.
Hey manufacturers, top that! Fellow Vette owners. I SOLD my wife on how economical it is!
