Saw this on another forum and thought it would be interesting to see what some of you guys done since you purchased your car to how it sits now.
For myself...
One of the first pictures I took of the car in Summer of 2003. Completely stock.
Taken a few weeks ago...four years later.
Completely stock engine bay...at the time I thought this was the fastest thing in the world and I would NEVER modifiy it...my my how things change, haha!
I think we all know what a stock 98 with wagon wheels look like...so here was my transformation. Somewhere in the middle was a complete JL Audio system too
Not only did I have too many wheels, I had 5 exhaust systems till I found one I liked! I guess wasting money is part of the fun right?

here is my before and after. I have had the car for 3 months now.
1) lowered
2) painted calipers
3) drilled and slotted rotors
4) 19/20 set up wheels
5) Granatelli Exhaust (love it)
6) exhaust plate cover thing
7) gauge rings
8) rear bumper letter inserts
Nope. When I lived there, it was usually me, the two Mustangs you can see in the first pic, and a friend of mine who had a Z28 that parked out there. The Mustang guys were actually pretty cool too.
Not my car.... but you get the idea. Mine was bone stock complete w/ BSMs. I picked the car up in April 2003.
Then I got C5-R lights, CCWs, painted lower facia, boltons and she stayed that way for a few years. The car was very popular w/ the lights and well known. Some of my friends still prefer this look!
When the C6 came out it made me realize how cheap and tacked in the C5R lights were and I grew tired of them, so out they came!
Then the next major round a few months later (fall '06) included a new tigershark facia and some other track stuff.
Then I found my dream hood for sale (DRM heat extractor)... it's no longer made!
And now I'm in for the long haul! Check my sig for the targa/repaint thread!
