That's why they include one stud, with a smooth surface that you put in first, then hang the wheel on it, and put in the bolts, take out the stud, insert the last bolt, and it's all done.

A forum member was supplying these for $50, and a lot of members bought them, including me. I modified an aluminum jacking puck by cutting a slot in it to fit the nylon pad on the jack. I was not worried about the nylon marring anything. I was afraid on a roadside surface, the jack might slip.

It will fit in the side compartment. That is where mine is, next to the air compressor kit.
