To do a burn out is it better to have T/C on or off to spin both wheels?
Think about this question! What is the ultimate goal of traction control? It's NOT the let the drive wheels spin. SO, with this in mind what do you think the amswer is here?? Remember, a "burn out" is about SPINNING THE WHEELS.
Thank for traction control, I almost went sideways this morning making a left. Must have hit an ice spot. Got about a foot of snow on the weekend here in SLC Utah but roads are pretty clear.
Why would you want to do a burn out in the first place? You know they can give you a ticket for that, plus it's such a waste of rubber and money.
Call me what you want but I just would rather stress my drive-train and use my expensive rubber for accelerating hard and cornering even harder. Plenty of folks have wanted me to do a burn-out for them but WTF? They don't have to pay for it and I'll never see them again!
I dunno....so far, it just hasn't been a temptation for me. This is not even to mention the possibility of a ticket. My son got a ticket for barely even turning 'em over once in his Mustang. Yes, Mustangs can do that sometimes.....
Oh...and to spin BOTH wheels, I usually get out and lock the hubs.
