my right rear caliper pins are bent. So i go to Napa and get new ones, well they are an inch shorter and too fat to fit in the holes!

pick them up today and WALA! they are an inch shorter also.
parts guy knows less than nothing

anyone know where I can get the correct size caliper pins for the rear caliper on a 2002 corvette?

Probably should go directly to your local GM dealer.

Thanks for the plug guys. I started out by asking him what part number he got from the other dealer and he gave me the number. The part number is correct.

Now it is 1 of 2 problems.

They could have been packaged wrong, which I doubt. Someone could have previously used the incorrect pins in the rear.

The question is, will the pins purchased work.

the thing is....i took the pins out of a 2000 C5 to use in the 02 Z06 and they were a perfect match. another member had an extra set he got with new pad kit and they were short too. just cannot imagine why GM would use shorter pins? with new pads i would think you would need those long pins? but what the heck do i know?

looks like i will have to borrow the pins again for this weekend
