Anyone have as much trouble getting the headers in as I am? Any suggestions? I am really trying to control my temper, but its really starting to **** me off.
Keep trying, stay patient. I know for a FACT that the go in, that's what I installed I installed the driver's side from the bottom and the passenger's side from the top, IIRC. Good luck
remove the steering knuckle on the driver's side, remove both motor mount nuts and jack up the motor 2-3 inches, remove the starter, then both will drop in easily from the top. I'm on my second set of long tubes.

it sounds scarier than it is.
Dang, that's a lot more than I had to remove. Didn't remove the starter, didn't jack up the motor. Just twist and turn it and cuss a little, it'll pop in there.

Mainly the drivers side, but I haven't tried going in from the bottom yet. Thats on the agenda for this evening after work. I haven't played with the passenger side yet. i have the starter loose and it looks like without a steering column in the way there will be a little more room. I'm hoping at least!!
Thanks for the input guys. I think I have the patiencs of a 5 year old sometimes.

yeah, or you could do it the easy way and get it in in 5 minutes, but the choice is yours.

I dropped both my LG long tubes from the top in less than 5 minutes with my method. Just save yourself the headache.
well getting it in wasn't the hard part. As long as you have it in the air about 3 feet. I finally got it but after sitting under there for about 5 minutes looking to see what was in the way. Once I move the inline fuel filter from its clip and unplugged the whole O2 sensor assembly, or whatever it was, it just slipped right in. too bad they left those instruction out. but anyway, the headers are in. the only problem now is they sent the wrong header gaskets. So I ahve to wait for the right ones now.

Are you talking about the hydraulic clutch line coupling? Is it light green? I remember that being in the way but never trying to take it out. I did have to disconnect that a couple of days ago for my clutch swap. What a PITA. Glad you got your headers in I don't think my hands were ever cut up as much as they were when I was installing my headers. Hope all goes smoothly for the rest of the install.
I also installed the Dynatech long tube headers on my C5 Corvette.
I had to put one side from underneath the car. I was lucky I had access
to a lift. All I can say be patient work with it they will drop in.
I can say once you listen to the sweet sound it will all be worth it.
Well I finally got everything in. I had to take a few days off due to a cystoscopy, but everything is in and sounds awesome. thanks for the support and I am looking forward to a nice cam next winter.
