When I had two sets of wheels/tires, I would keep the spare set in the basement on an old piece of carpet. They were stacked flat on top of each other with a piece of cardboard in between each tire. Seemed to store OK that way - I would keep them like that for about 6 months that way.

I would also wash them thoroughly to remove all of the oxidized rubber, and then treat the tires with a good quality rubber treatment (and I don't mean goopy tire shire). I mean something like Meguiars #40, Adams Vinyl & Rubber Treatment, etc. Key is to keep them away from UV light to prevent oxidation and drying out.
what I have is a set of GY SC's that are unmounted, should I stack them or stand them upright. I don't want to deform them to much, I wont need them for a while (yr +) since Gieco just bought me a new set as part of a claim.
Ive already coated with a good silicone treatment.
If you can.. off the ground (see pic) Otherwise I've heard put cardboard/carpet on the ground and stack them with normal air pressure.
I stack mine with cardboard in between the tires, but I have been told to lower the air pressure to around 15 or 20. So should I leave them with normal air pressure than? anyone?

If you are laying them flat or hanging them off the ground, then I would leave about 20lbs in them. If you are going to stand them up - I'd fill them with 30lbs. Of course - my opinion.......
