Had to take mine off after the ARH LT and racing cats install 
I am about to pull the trigger on a fairly large cam. It will be interesting to see what it sounds like after that. I am considering doing the A&A mod with Ti on the stockers. Still debating

Not with 2 tips... it's easy! If you don't have a friend to help, then get a floor jack and a piece of wood that'll span the 2 tips but fit in the bumper recess.
Loosed the connections then jack them a little higher than where you want them and crank the fittings down.
Works nicely for me, but I've found them very easy to allign and keep alligned. I can even access the one clamp w/ the car still on the ground an dmove the tip up/down.
