Default Wheel Questions

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a new set of wheels and tires for my 99 Coupe. I looked online and like the 06 Z06 Replicas in chrome and the prices seemed in my range. I really do not know anything about the offset and didn't want to use any spacers. The salesman is quoting me on
17 X 8.5 and 18 X 9.5. I was looking into getting the whole package (rims, tires, and sensors. Mounted and balanced prior to delivery.). I got a quote from Discount Tire Direct, but I'm concerened about the sensors. Are the sensors from GM? They never responded to my question about the sensors. Has anyone else purchased wheel packages with sensors already installed? If so, any problems? Any advice/feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Not an exact answer to your question.
I too like the C6 Z06 wheels, good looking and affordable.
Check with house of wheels and tomz wheels for additional info.
You should be able to bolt these right on.

I can't answer your questions but I think you will be happy with those wheels. I put a pair of C6 Z06 repros on my 99 vert. They are c5 wheel sizes so there is no issue with offsets, etc.

I love the look.

Did you buy the wheels, tires, and sensors from one distributor?

I contacted Nate at Corvette Garage. They are a forum vendor, sell a lot of wheels and know exactly what you need.
They were recommended to me by a club and forum member whole bought a complete package as your are looking to do.

Look at TomZwheels. As he mentions he has a good price on them.

But to answer your question, I don't know of any aftermarket vendors for the sensors. As far as I know, they all come from GM - it's just a matter of how much they charge. Gene at GMPartsHouse typically has the best price on sensors for the car.
