I have a Callaway Honker on the way, should have it mid next week. Then a Dyno tune will be scheduled for later in the month.
Im looking fo 30RWHP from both,,,,,,,,,
Will I be Disapointed?

I may be disapointed,,,,,,
I had one member tell with his added Vararam, and a hand held tuner tune, he then dynoed 32rwhp same day.
But I will get what I get.

I've been the same route. I've got a Honker and an ECS tune. Maybe it's not 30 hp, but you will still notice the difference. A worthwhile start to further mods and the Honker is a top-notch piece. I'm 100% satisfied with mine.

Here's an article from Vette Magazine, Aug 2005. It reports on an independent C5 test performed by MTI Racing in Georgia with a mildly-modified 400 hp LS1, 5.7L engine.
19.5 rwhp gain w/o tune,
32.3 rwhp after tune and 160 deg. thermostat
As a matter of fact, as in the previous post, I did also change the thermostat to a cooler one. I probably did get a considerable increase, more than I thought. Maybe even at least 25 hp total, not including that I also had added a catback prior to everything else. Looking for a big jump when I do the rest of the exhaust and headers.
Instead of adding a t-stat, why don't you just go with your honker and see what the results are. Adding a t-stat will have an impact on the dyno numbers and then you will not be able to attribute the gains to Just a Honker and Tune.
I think thats a good way of finding out weather or not your expected 30hp from CAI/Tune can be achieved or not.
Someone I know has a very low mile 03 z06 with CAI/LT/TUNE, he made 388 rwhp. Stock dyno run was 363. Thats 25 rwhp gain. Just food for thought.

Reason: correction of stock dyno numbers
Heater will work fine. Didnt they get lower results with the hood closed? If I recall correctly, they did and couldn't figure out why. I'd say 15-20 with a tune; 30rwhp just from a CAI is allot., Maybe the car had a dirty air filter; LT headers can give you 30 by themselves but I don't know about a CAI delivering that.

If you assume your car is putting down 360 hp stock, then with a CAI and tune I think you would get between 370-380 hp. What I have seen is CAI, LT headers, and tune is good for about 30 hp.

The OP didn't mention anything about headers which I believe are good for about 10 or more out of the average 30 you would get with CAI, LT, TUNE.
Assuming he is stock, I don't think 30rwhp will be achievable without headers. Definitely looking for the results. I hope he posts them up.

I agree with BonestockZ06.
I mentioned that MTI Racing added the thermostat in the magazine article because I wanted to make sure to mention all the changes they made. However, we don't add low temperature thermostats to the Callaway Corvettes built in house here.
When installing the Honker, why would you not put some kind of Seal between the filter frame that you are mounting to the shroud?
Seal it, or just mount it with the rivits?
1. Will the heater still work fine with the 160 thermostat?
2. Will the car Function ok with the 160 if I have to drive it a few weeks waiting ( to be scheduled) on the Dyno tune?
I originally added the Honker without changing the t-stat or getting the tune. Just did the idle relearn procedure. A long time later I had a tune done by Doug at ECS. He recommended changing to the 160 thermostat along with his tune. The car runs great and there have been no negative effects, including going to the lower t-stat. I drive my car all year round and the heater works fine.
