why are the cam specs different for each year on he ls1?I thought GM changed up the cam starting with the 01 ls1.

LS1
'97-'99 are the same specs. 345hp. PN chg'd in '98
'00 345hp. was the year of the pup-cats in CA & NE Vettes
'01-'03 are the same. 350hp

LS6
'01 385hp
'02-'03 are the same specs. 405hp

That's the best I can come up with.

The intake flow for a stock 03 Z06 is 257 cfm @ .500 ( have no idea what the exhaust flow is) Ported LS6 heads take you to 270 @ .500.

With the stock cam lifting .551 you're at 263 cfm and 280 cfm respectively.
