My 1999 FRC is a very well mannered one until last night. All of the sudden fuel gauge drop reading from 1/2 to empty. I checked the computer and read no range. Then I stop, shot the car and then it worked just fine after restarted. Any thoughts? Thanks...!

Very common issue - it is believed that the sulfur content of some fuels cause the fuel gauge sending unit to malfunction. Many (including me) have found that using Chevron with Techron clears up the issue. If Chevron fuel is not marketed in Puerto Rico - a bottle of Techron Fuel conditioner every other tankful or so helps.
There have even been TSB's (Technical Service Bulletin) issued by GM on the subject. click here
There is also something to be said about using only Top Tier fuels - in the owner's manual of my 2007 Cadillac, it is specifically mentioned that Top Tier is recommended. click here for more info on Top tier Fuels
I know there have been tons of posts over the years on this subject - you might want to try a SEARCH and you will be amazed at what comes up.

yup, common
1.run 2-3 tanks of a good fuel system cleaner like
Shell V-Power, SeaFoam, Valvoline Synpower, Techron
2. switch to a top tier fuel as per the previous post link
3. If that does not fix it... check for corroded ground connection
4. If it still persists you have a sender problem
