Default Should I buy it???

I've got a lead on 2003 Z06 Black/Black with 51,000 miles. Clean title one owner car for $27000. Looks really nice. What do you think? Is it worth it? Anything I should look out for? I am new to the C5's and not sure if there is anything to watch out for when looking.

Thanks,
Kelvin

If it helps, my '02 coupe with 51K, fully loaded was $27,500 back last February.

For a Z06, sounds like a good deal.

I paid about a grand more for a 04 Coupe with 31,000 miles back in June, but it could be a differece in price in different parts of the country. But for a ZO6 that would be pretty good.

Doesn't sound too bad for an 03, probably wouldn't call it stealing the car given the mileage but sounds decent.

Before signing, get the VIN and order a Carfax AND get a GM warranty and service report from your local Chevy dealer's service advisor. Having this basic information can save you a lot of grief if there's a record of problems.

I'd say Carfax it and go to you local GM servce dept and have them check the cars history using the vin number. They're pretty good about doing that for you.

Good luck and do get emotional untill it's yours!

Well, my .02$ is that where I come from, that sort of mileage for that price doesn't go hand in hand. Try going for a lower price, or like haggling :P if not, by all means get it.

I checked VIN at the dealer and only usual maintenance found on it...I think I will offer him $26k.
