My first C5
I bought my bone stock ( still had the paper air filter and CAGS hooked up) 00, M6 last month. It's not my first Vette however, back in the early 80's I owned a slow, heavy and very unreliable 77 C3 that could have permanently cured any case of Corvette fever. Anyway after a walk through the world of Mustangs, an 88 5.0 sedan and a 96 GT about two years ago the illness returned with a vengeance. I was looking for a hardtop or a coupe but a local covertible came up for sale and I knew the owners and the history of the car so now it's in my driveway. Future mods: Disconnect the
CAGS and install a air intake.

I was going to post some pics but I need to upgrade my membership first. Yes it's a totally different driving experience all together. The C5 is a much more solid car despite the fact that it's a convertible and my C3 was a T-top. The only problem is now I can't get the grin off my face most of the time. The C5 is just plain old fun to drive, even when it's going slow.
