Default Vert chassis flex @ 700+ hp?

I plan on purchasing a 2001-2002 vette in August. I have always had convertible sports cars so I really want to make this a vert as well. But my plans are to shoot for somewhere around 700+ hp by the time I am done with it. Without bracing of any kind will that chassis hold up or will I have too much flex?

I'm not sure about the chassis flex but I wish I had your concerns.

Well don't get me wrong. That much HP is going to take me a good while to get to. I have a beater so this car will basically be my toy to sit in the garage and mod when I have extra cash.

I would make sure you have the after market Tunnel plate I put one in my coupe and it also helped stiffen up my Vette so I bet it will work wonders for a Vert

Default C5's hydro-formed rails and tunnel are very strong...

My car makes about 650rwhp, and I don't notice any issues with flex. It is a convertible, and my chassis is completely stock.
