Default *Repainting calipers after rock chips - Help**

I painted my calipers Red a few months ago,(see pictures) and because my baby is also my DD, I have accumulated a good amount of rock chips on the calipers, and they look horrible with sections of the paint missing.

Without the obvious answer of powdercoating, what is the best way to repaint them?

Do I just paint over whats there... or do i need to strip the paint first, and then start from scratch? If i do need to strip, how do I do that.

Please keep in mind that taking the caliper off is not an option as this is a DIY fix for me.

Thanks.
