I'm thinking about pulling my stripes off, what do you think? I made a crappy ms paint picture without stripes. It's not perfect but gets the point across.

Personally I like it without the stripes. Subtly can be a beautiful thing

I actually like them, I think it gives the car more personality and brings out the lines of the car!

You can always get another set and put them back on if you don't like the way it looks

Good luck with your decision

I prefer no stripes. To my eyes, the plain look allows the contours and design of the vette to flow evenly with no eye-distraction(stripes)

Maybe it's the color choice that you're having second thoughts about?

I think a little flash is a good thing for a car that doesn't have a neon paint job. I voted to keep 'em, but were it my car (which may acquire some black stripes) I'd keep the read and peel the black.

Why ask us, it is your car, do you want to keep them? If so, keep em, if not, get rid of them. Would you really do what we say if it didn't agree with your personal preference?

They don't look that bad...

But personally, I wouldn't put them on my Arctic White '97.

Thanks for the input guys... I dunno, I've had the stripes for 3 years, I've been thinking of switching to these:

Only in a nice shade of blue. The car is an arctic white FRC, with CE wheels, Z06 ducts, front screens, the black rear fascia overlay thing, a nasty bark and a bite thats 10 times worse. I agree it would look to plain with nothing, the problem with white is it doesn't accent the lines of the car very well, but I LOVE WHITE!
