Servicing a C5 in MKE
Any Milwaukee area C5s out there?
"I suppose this has been asked before, but If there are any Milwaukee guys or gals out there, whom do you use for service? Your Chevy dealer or some Vett specialist?"
What I can say is that EVS Chevy in Random Lake seems to know their stuff. I bought the car there in May, found an a/c problem (was a vacuum leak) and brought it in, and they fixed it and the battery (which was leaking acid) no charge 3 weeks after the fact. Also brought it to them when the f'ing steering wheel locked up on me (despite the recall "fix") and they took the lock plate out per GM bulletin, also no charge and no argument. Andrew Chevrolet gave me nothing but crap. Looked up the VIN, said the recall was already done, and they couldn't do anything.
So I guess if I had to make a recommendation they would be it. They give free loaners; you just put in the gas you used.

In the immediate Milwaukee area, there is no real standout dealer that I'm aware of.
EVS up in Random Lake is the best bet for a GM dealer in WI that specializes in Vettes, they always have a of them there, so certainly they know how to service them too. They are also a supporting dealer on this forum.
Libertyville Chevy just across the border in Libertyville, Il also has a great reputation for servicing Vettes.
And, for the guy above, MKE is airport code...it's not an uncommon abbreviation to see, much like STL and DFW, etc. If you're from that area, you will know..
Was hoping someone good would be a little closer to town. I'm in the north shore.
And RyanR0101 is that a front plate I see on your C5? Must be one of the few w/ a front plate I've seen
