I narrowed down my hood light problems. I do know the problem is between the bulb holder and where it plugs in down where it's easy to get to. The wire that plugs into where the bulb goes is where the problem is, somewhere in between the wire is bad or something not plugged in.
My question is how do you get to that wire without tearing up the hood insulation?
Is there an easy way, I hope this makes sense.
I do know the bulb is good and theres power to the plug by the air filter.

Are you talking about removing the hood liner? That's just a matter of removing the plastic pins with a BBQ fork or upholstery tool.
I hope I didn't over simplify your question.

No that's what I was wondering sounds easy. I just didn't want to force things and screw something up, HUH! barbecue fork that's awesome. I feel like a Duh! is in order.
And yes it's unplugged at the bulb holder somehow
ALRIGHT! Used the barbecue fork (worked perfect) light was unplugged there I don't know to spell Wahla! but at any rate I have underhood lighting. Thanks!
I came from the C3 section and came up the ranks from asking to helping, I hope I can learn as much in this section as I did there.
People in both sections are great.
