Everyone knows the pricey classic vette's are the C1 and C2's. In my opinion, the C5 will be the next one to join them. Forty, fifty years from now I think they will hit the auction the same way. Last with the pop up headlights and a real classy car. I think they will be the car the C2 is now (first with pop up lights and a new look at the time.) So these C5 garage queens could be worth a lot of money for the Grandchildren. Enjoy and pass them on!
I agree but am not going to wish my life away or not drive it...of course snow is another thing...it stays in then! Plus.....I'm pretty... pretty... pretty... sure... (Larry David) I don't have another 50 years on this earth.

I agree very much. The C5 is one of the hottest looking cars on the roads and it wasn't riddled with build quality / low horsepower issues like the C3 or C4 cars were. I really question how collectable the C3s and early C4s will ever be. 84 and 85 Vettes are pretty much looked at as junk these days. That will never happen to any C5s.

LOL Like the famous......(Drum Roll)..... Mustang II
And I had a 67 Stang vert and loved it but the II's
I won't even be a memory by then. That's not the point I was trying to make. In time like the C1 and C2 has had (forty, fifty years) the C5 will last also. The other generations are not worth much now. I thought it was pretty clear what I was trying to say, but guess not.
