Roof panel weight question
I've owned a convertible before but not a coupe, so I dont know the answere to this. What do the the roof panels weigh on a c5 and how hard or easy are they are to remove by yourself. I'm hoping my wife can do this by herself.

I do mine on and off no problem. Depends on how buff your wife is as to whether she can do it alone. My wife couldn't if she tried but she only 5'3"
It's not really the weight you are dealing with but more that you are reaching out over the top of the Vette. It weighs about 20 lbs.

Transparent top weighs just under 21 lbs. Painted top about 24. If your wife is 6 ft tall with 35" arms, she can probably take it off by herself. On the other hand if she is 6 ft tall with 35" arms, she'll probably want to whip your @$$ for expecting her to do it.
