I'm still waiting to get my car fixed from the deer wreck, my appointment, Jan 2nd. I can still drive my car, who I now call "ONE EYED *****", but it looks like a member of the cast from the movie "THE ROAD WARRIOR".
I keep telling myself "it's worth the wait". The body shop manager told me his best painter is on vacation till the first of the year, so I wait. My parts are all in, boy, they look nice! Funny contrast, because they are sitting in a Ford dealership bodyshop! I chose these guys because they were able to tweak my estimate and get me a new hood as I requested, and they are decent people and easy to work with, good ole country folk. I was impressed one time waiting to pick up my wife's Escape. They were repairing an Explorer that got hit in the nose, the radiator support (buried under the grill) had been hit slightly, the body shop tech had straightened the spot, then used filler on the 2" X 2" area, and was in the process of priming and painting it! That impressed me, if they go to that kind of trouble on something on a car that isn't seen, I'm sure my car is going to be awesome! I just can't wait to get her straight again!
i hope jan 2 never comes, thats when my car payments start
I too hope it never comes. I have to work tomorrow, my last day until Jan 2nd. woohoo for long holiday vacation...the last one I will ever be able to take until I retire :-(
