Run your own Carfax check and have one of the members here run a Vehicle Service History on it. PM SpongeVette and he can do it.
Very early 01. #901 probably came off the line in the first couple of weeks of the 01 production run.
Would also be a good idea to see if they will let you take the car to a reputable shop of your choice for a pre-purchase inspection. For about $125 you should get a written description of what repairs (if any) are needed and when it should get done.
They need to remove the blue dealer decal Or buy it and charge then for advertising space on your car.

Decent price if it checks out okay. Don't be afraid to try to pinch the dealer on the price...they may be willing to deal this time of year.
Good luck.

Prices have gotten very affordable on C5s in the past couple years. You might even be able to find one with fewer miles on it for that same price if you take some time to look around.
If you have electric adjustable seats you can adjust the height like that. My '02 vert has the dual adjustable seats and a short passenger can raise their seat while a tall driver lowers theirs.
Unless you personally know that there is a problem with the seat you shouldn't ASSume that the seat is broken.
If the car checks out it might be a good deal. You can always make them a lower offer and see what happens.
