Sun came out............
Sun came out today and so I took the Vette for a bath. First time out since the new gears were installed 2 weeks ago. Needless to say I am very happy! Feels like a whole new car, like a Vette should. Great out of the hole, nice "patch" on the 1-2 shift 
, even with the traction control on, (I hope that is normal) (of course it is only 30 degrees out and evertyhing is cold, cold, cold), excellent acceleration and not much of a noticable difference in RPM's. Thanks to all who answered questions, and provided the advice and suggestions.
