CARFAX is against the rules and a moderator will most likely lock/delete your request.
A GM service history request is perfectly allowable. There's usually 2-3 members who can run that for you. You can send a PM to member Sponge Vette...he's done them for other members.
Or, your friendly GM service writer can do it for you for free.

The Carfax is a great investment at $24.95, unlimited for one month, or $19.95 for one shot. It made me feel a lot better about my purchase, and I would do it again if and when I get to buy another Vette.
Be advised using Carfax may cost you more than their minimum of $19.95. I tried that minimum, but the credit card bill showed $24.95. I joined a class action lawsuit that promised three vehicle searches for free. Haven't heard anything from the courts since.
Carfax is just one tool -- it's not 100% foolproof. When checking vehicle history, use every means available to avoid making an expensive mistake.
