Ok so I'm new to the vette community and I would like to give my taillights the blacked out look along with the side markers and the brake light above the tails. With the cobra I had, most people went with autobadges or ninosport. Who makes the best blackout kits for the corvettes? Also are they overlays or plastic inserts or what kind do you guys like? I really appreciate the help
I like a spray on stuff called niteshades. blackout kits are too dark and with niteshades you can get the perfect look your looking for. and as long as you dont go waaay to dark with it you can still see the lights from the required 500 feet away with no problem. making it legal.
Give Richard at Corvette Enhancements a call Richard makes the best looking blackouts I have ever seen. I have his taillights, back up lights and his side lights in my car.

Another vote for Corvette Enhancements. You won't find better quaility backouts anywhere or a better guy to deal with! Richard takes customer service to a whole new level!
Has anyone tried the overlays from ecklers? Or from RPI design? I would love to get the nice ones from Richard but cant have the down time on the car with no lights.
i'm doing niteshades when i get the paint those kits look good though too. The black C5 with the Hummer is what mine will look like when it's done. I'm looking to have it blacked out like that with my Chrome C6 Z06's. I've been thinking about getting the black C6 Z06's with a polished or machined lip as well
Not hard at all - a bit awkward for the DRL's with one of the mounting bolts but not difficult. I once had my front fascia off and wish I had them then as it would have been cake with the fascia off.
