Three months?
There is no way any shop that estimates 3 months to repair would get my business.

That's quite some damage there
Best of luck
to you and hopefully it'll be fully healed when it's
time is done at the shop

Get a 2nd opinion. I was an adjuster for 2+ years, find a shop that will total it.

If it's worth it to repair it, nothing should take three months.
Good luck.

Wrong... I've seen repairs take 5-6.

that just means that it's sitting for long periods with nobody working on it.

Yes, and that happens can happen at a full production shop when you have parts delays and have to fight for time on the frame machine etc.

Sorry to hear about the damage. Hope everyone is OK though.
As far as the repairs, 3 months is no suprise. I just got back my wifes 97 Lexus SC300, took 4 months to repair. When the insurance adjuster looked at it, said it would be $5400. I said no way. With 131k miles, I said you total it and give me $8k and I'll walk away. Adjuster said it was not up to 80% value yet. Argued for two weeks that there was more damage. told them to do a supplement tear-down. After that, it was up to $7300. Still not enough to total. After the insurance company committed to do the repairs, they can't back out. Final tab, after 5 supplemental claim, the taol was $14k. All on the other persons ins company.

I'd rather have them total it and start over. Don't know where you are from since it's not in your profile but, if you are in the snow belt then what is 3 months? Free storage probably. Good luck.
