CD Skipping...12CD Changer....!!

(Got the Delco-Bose 12CD Changer)

Ehhh yeah, just as the title says...should I just change the changer? Any suggestions?

Is it every CD in the changer? If it is, run a cleaning CD through it and see if that clears it up.

It's whenever I go over a hard bump...which, with these shocks and such, is just about every bump LOL!

I'm thinking that it's just old technology and may be replaced with something newer?

Get the P.I.E. adaptor and a mp3 player, use the software that comes with the MP3 player to convert your CD's to MP3's, done deal. You'll wonder why you ever bothered with the CD changer in the first place. Search the Audio section for details or PM me.

Mine does the same thing and I always thought it was old technology that did not provide any sort of 10-15 second skip protection like the new(er) cd's players do.
