Default back up lamps

Activate your car alarm on your key fob. If they light up then you know its not your fuse. Now put your key in the ignition and turn on the ignition. Put the car in reverse. If the light does not work it is your sending unit on the right side of your transmission. GM part # 14069600
Easy to install. Five minute job. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. Disconnect the battery and reconnect it. THis solved my problem. also as mentioned by another member. If your key fob turns them on then the are working. Good luck.
