As I recall, just get your arm down in there and pull the old bulb (s)
Some guys have done it from underneath if you have larger arms.

Well, thanks for the info...but i'm more referring to any specific replacements all together. I would like to upgrade the look, and what better time than when a light is out?

I've got some bulbs I bought on ebay then decided not to install. Decided to stick with the stock color. Here's a link https://www.eurodezigns.com/shop/detail.aspx?ID=71
They got a lifetime warranty (cost you $6.95 for a replacement set after you return old bulbs). I'll let you have them for $10 (Paypal) plus shipping. These are brand new. I did open the package

If you're replacing the bulb, An 880/881 bulb is what you need. If you remove the headlight trim and cover then close the headlight, there should be enough room to reach in there and get the job done. If not you can remove the entire assembly by removing the single 10mm mountign bolt.

If you want to replace the entire housing, the two most comong housings used are the PIAA 1100X and the Hella micro DE. The PIAA has a spot beam pattern and i believe the reflector and bulb are one piece. The Hella micros (which i use) are projector style using an H3 bulb and have a nice cutoff.

get a set of HID bulbs for them instead.

this is a comparison shot of a common c5 upgrade of a PIAA 1100x vs OEM w/HID

Stock fogs with HIDs are an excellent choice.

885 (50w) are a good replacement for the stock 893 (37.5w). You may want to re-aim them for best results.

Go with the 885s and aim them, it makes a world of difference when you aim them.
