I was without a Vette when I sold my 78 Silver Anniversary. About 9 years later the wife and I decided enough was enough. We now have a C4 and a C5 in the garage. Hopefully you will once again be a Vette owner. I can feel your pain. Good luck.

Why didn't you wait till you were ready to buy to sell your car?

Thanks guys,I had to sell it because my wife had another baby and won't be going back to work for a little while and daddy duties are always calling,so not a whole lot of time for cruising.I think I will try to get something that needs a little work and mess around with it as time permits. If anyone knows of coupe or frc that has high miles or needs some love let me know.Thanks.Jer

FRC stands for Fixed Roof Coupe. They were produced between 1999 and 2000. The Z06 took the FRC bodystyle in 2001 to 2004.

I know this sounds sacreligious, but family comes first. You gave up your Corvette for a very noble reason. I applaud you!

You'll get another when the time is right and the right car comes along. Happy holidays to you and your family.

Some times FRC refers to "flying roof club" for those who are a bit forgetful Hope you get another Vette soon, it was almost 30 years between ownership of my 62 and 92 (bought both used). We now have an 02 and love it! Good luck!

Thanks. I don't own a vette and am here to learn...MANY appologies if I ask "the" questions that have been asked a million times already...I know how annoying that is.

Default Been without too!

I'm on my third now. Did without after the first one for about 11 months. Then went about 3 months after the second one. I think it's in the blood now. I plan to keep this one for some time to come. I've stepped up each time and think this one will do me for a good while, but for sure I think I'll always have a Vette in the garage. Merry Christmas!
