Default New Tire Opinions

My vette needs some new tires and I am stuck between two brands. Has anyone here used the following tires or is currently using them?

BFG G-force T/A KDW 255/40/17 Front
BFG G-force T/A KDW 295/35/18 Back

OR

Kumho Ecsta MX (KU15) - 295/35R18 Back
Kumho Ecsta MX (KU15) - 265/40R17 Front

I'm kind of leaning toward the BFG's(cause the tread pattern looks badass) but just want some input.

Very happy with the Kumos! Quiet and resonably priced.

I have experience with the KDW in the traditional tread pattern....I really loved those tires. They were great in the wet and pretty good on the dry. The "W" in the name means it was designed for the wet - as opposed to the KD which was a great dry tire.

Personally - I don't like anything made in Korea, but I have no real world experience with them. From what I've read here - many like them, but most say they are quiet (anything compared to the OEM EMT's is quiet) and cheap. I think the BFG tire is a better choice, personally.
