LS2 heads
Does anone know if the LS2 heads will fit an LS1 engine and if so would there be much of an increase in performance?
Thanks,
Jack

I think they are the same casting as the ls6 heads and they should bolt right up. Maybe 15RWHP or so??
LS2 heads will give you a different compression ratio as they are made for a larger CUIN block...
LS6 heads will not affect compression ratios as they are make for 346 CUIN...
with that said that is the major difference in putting LS2 heads on a LS1...

243 (LS6/LS2) heads slightly raise the compression on LS1s due to the smaller 64.4cc chamber size. (the LS1 heads have a 66.7cc chamber)
Has nothing to do with engine CI as posted above.
