front cowl question

front cowl question

Merry christmas and happy new year to you guys and gals. I would like to change the cowl vent (just under the front window in the engine compartment) to either carbon or chrome and was wondering if the nuts or fastners under the original are fixed or will I be expecting them to fall and maybe lose a few. They seem easy to get at but haven't attempted yet. Thanks for any input.

I believe that they just pop out (w/ a small flatblade screw driver) and then can be reused. Try to keep them in order though.

Try not to scratch the plastic,use something under the screw driver to pry against,good luck.
